The agricultural cooperative is engaged in production and marketing of tomatoes. The cooperative, established in 1994 to produce, handle and market vegetable and fruit products, has its registered office in Viator, Almería, Spain. With a network of approximately 200 partners, it undertakes the planting and cultivation of tomatoes in the area of La Cañada, where its technical team monitors the growing of the seeds in nursery before transplanting, as well as after planting in the greenhouse. Its production activity is centered in La Cañada on Almeria's East Coast. The company offers a range of products adapted to the highest demands of the European market. Its portfolio includes loose tomatoes, tomato on the vine, TYTY cocktail tomato, plum tomato on the vine, cherry tomato on the vine, and pepper. These products are sold under the Casur brand. All the produce marketed by the company comes exclusively from its associated growers, whose crops are rigorously controlled from the very moment production begins. This allows the company to provide an absolute guarantee of origin for all its produce. The company follows an integrated method of production which is guaranteed by the most demanding quality certification trademarks. It is certified according to the UNE EN ISO 9001/2000, UNE-EN-ISO 14001, and UNE 155.000/2001 norms.
